Huge turnout for 2023 Eastbourne Carnival, sponsored by Lightning Fibre

Eastbourne was packed with spectators for the 2023 Eastbourne Carnival, sponsored by Lightning Fibre.

On Saturday 27th May, Eastbourne's streets were packed with excited people for an afternoon of Carnival events. The Carnival parade started at 2pm from Fishermen’s Green and ended at the Wish Tower Slopes. A street party at Victoria Place proved a popular addition this year. More than 1,500 walkers are expected to take part with some 25,000 fans and supporters. More than 1,500 walkers took part with an estimated 25,000 fans and supporters.

Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce held a chamber members and VIP event at The Bandstand, sponsored by Seahaven FM, attended by the new town Mayor, Cllr Candy Vaughan.
