Lightning Fibre delivers multi-Gig Full Fibre connectivity to the 2023 Heathfield Agricultural Show 

Lightning Fibre have agreed to a new partnership to connect their Full Fibre broadband network to the Heathfield Show Showground this year, delivering Full Fibre Broadband to the event site for free, giving hyper fast broadband access to traders, staff and guests - over 17,000 people are expected to attend on the 27th May.  

The firm is also, once again, sponsoring the hedgerow board marketing campaign, to help show organisers publicise the event across the county throughout May. 

During 2022, Lightning Fibre built their Full Fibre network in Heathfield and have recently extended into Broad Oak. The local (Eastbourne) firm is also rolling out in Hastings and Tenterden, and the network is available in Hailsham and Eastbourne.

Ben Ferriman, Lightning Fibre Founder and CEO, commented, “With homes in the area struggling to reach more than 30 or 40Mbps, at best, using the outdated copper wires still in use by the mainstream internet service providers, the connectivity at the Showground will be up to 250 times faster than most homes and businesses can access using old copper networks. We’re building our brand new Full Fibre network as fast as we can to meet the huge local demand.”

Headquartered in Eastbourne, 95% of Lightning Fibre employees come from East Sussex, and the install and customer care teams are based in Eastbourne . This local ISP currently offers 100Mbps symmetric residential broadband from just £24 per month, with Hyper Fast (up to 1Gbps) just £39 per month, with no set up fee.
