Lightning Fibre Joins Rotary AM Eastbourne to Present Cheques to Local Charities

Back to Blogs

Lightning Fibre’s CEO Ben Ferriman joined Rotary AM at Brewers Birch Road Coffee Shop in Eastbourne to present cheques to three amazing local charities. Holding Space, Children with Cancer Fund and Matthew 25 Mission.

Each charity received a cheque for the significant amount of £1800.

The money was raised by numerous donations for the Eastbourne Tree of Light over the Christmas period.

Rotary in Eastbourne is a vibrant and enthusiastic organisation. Each year, the three clubs in the Borough come together to organise the Tree of Light in time for Christmas.

The special tree is erected outside the Congress Theatre and is covered in a host of white lights each one dedicated to the memory of a loved one. The importance of the tree is the comfort it gives to families and individuals throughout the area.

Rotarian Melanie Adams said, “I would like to say a special thank you to our sponsors and supporters whose generosity has enabled the Rotary Clubs to make these donations to such worthwhile charities working in our local community”.
