The much loved Meads Magic festive event is back on Friday 3 December from 12.00 noon to 8.00 pm.  

Meads Street Eastbourne will be closed to traffic and lined with stalls selling locally made art and crafts, beautiful cards, delicious local produce, and perfect Christmas presents, there will be live music, fun fare rides, mulled wine, French crepes, choirs singing and much more.

This year will see this wonderful event with an earlier start meaning that you can grab some lunch either at one of the Meads Street wonderful cafes and restaurants or from the specially selected street food traders and stalls and then stroll around looking at everything on offer. Or perhaps have a pub lunch at either The Ship or The Pilot.

We are also delighted to announce that Tara Smith and her team at Eats & Treats will be hosting Santa’s Grotto this year, and will open at 3.00 pm especially for pre-school children with Mrs Christmas and the Christmas Cook handing out cookies and presents. During the afternoon children from the schools of Meads will be singing carols for us and then at around 4.15 there will be a parade bringing Santa himself to the Grotto.
