The Hastings Comedy Festival is back this June, celebrating its 10th anniversary from June 9th to 15th, sponsored by Lightning Fibre
To celebrate 10 years of the Hastings Comedy Festival, this year’s festival promises to be one of the most vibrant mixes of laughter and creativity ever! The 2025 festival runs from 9th to 15th June and offers stand-up comedy, comedy theatre, clowning, puppetry, and much more. There's something for everyone, including families and children. With a range of shows including tour performances, fringe previews, and exclusive work-in-progress shows, festival goers will experience the best of the comedy scene.
Saturday, June 14th will be a highlight, with the return of Comedy for Kids at The Observer Building and the prestigious ‘’Norman Award’’ newcomer competition at The Piper. Last year’s winner, Lucas Jefcoate, will also perform his show at Jenny Lind. Lucas began performing stand up at 17. He took a course at the Comedy School led by Keith Palmer and performed his first 5 minute set at the Backyard Comedy Club. Since then Lucas has gigged in London, Edinburgh and New York.

The Launch Party will include live Stand up Comedy from some of the best emerging comics and festival favourites from the UK comedy scene, live music from NOMAS SHAKES (a Pop-Rock / Garage Rock Revival quartet from South East UK), followed by all of your dance urges coming to the surface as we spin that classic vinyl into the night.
