We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our small but effective in-house marketing team (we also have agency support). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with marketing experience who is eager to develop their marketing career and gain exposure to a variety of projects. The role will include gathering and creating content for social media, social media management including engagement, managing printed and digital marketing collateral, writing blogs, updating the website (including basic SEO), attending events (sometimes at weekends), and providing valuable support to ensure a proactive and impact of all marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Making content for social media platforms, including photography and videography and digital collateral using Canva or Adobe;
- Managing our social media accounts, scheduling content, boosting, engaging with audiences, and responding to messages;
- Supporting the CCO and assisting the Marketing Executive with marketing responsibilities;
- Involvement in multiple projects with the Marketing Executive, which will require you to manage your workload efficiently;
- Collaborate with a small, friendly team to brainstorm new ideas and campaigns;
- Attending events and off site events for photos and PR;
- Writing blogs and maintaining the website content;
- Anything else required to support the marketing team.
Requirements:
- Creative!
- Design experience;
- Previous experience in a marketing role;
- A proactive individual with a passion for marketing and a keen interest in customer acquisition;
- A drivers licence and the ability to drive;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail;
- Copywriting / proof reading experience;
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools;
- Photography and photo editing;
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom is essential (other Adobe Creative Cloud software is a plus);
- Experience working with Meta business, Instagram, Facebook etc is a plus but not specifically a requirement;
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment;
- A creative mindset with a passion for staying on top of industry trends;
- The ability to work as part of a team, work with other teams and lone working;
- Full and clean driving licence required.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 (37.5 hrs per week - with occasional weekend availability)
- Location: Eastbourne, United Kingdom (Office based and site based)
- Salary: £25000
